How iTero® Scanners Work
The iTero digital impression scanner combines powerful software with advanced scanning technology to create highly detailed 3D digital impressions of your teeth, gums and bite. Intraoral scanners from iTero scan your mouth, capturing images to create three-dimensional dental images in minutes. The scans produced by iTero digital scanners are also more detailed than the traditional two-dimensional images you may find at other orthodontics practices in Ann Arbor. The scanning process can be seen in real-time on the iTero’s screen. This allows Dr. Li to explain and discuss your treatment while you are in your comfortable chair.
