We Care From Our Heart

We believe everyone, whether you or your child, should enjoy the orthodontic journey leading to their beautiful smiles. At Embrace Orthodontics, you will easily find what truly sets us apart from other orthodontics options for Ann Arbor families. Whether you are considering changing your smile for aesthetic purposes, or to correct your bite and jaw alignment, we are committed to providing specialized orthodontic treatment to give you a smile that looks and feels great!

Expert Training In Dentistry and Orthodontics

Dr. Li is an orthodontist. Orthodontists are dentists first. Out of 100 dental school graduates, only about six go through a competitive process to become orthodontists. They spend an additional three years of training learning the skills needed to manage tooth movement and to guide facial development.  Orthodontists focus their services to patients on providing orthodontic treatment to children, teenagers, and adults. Orthodontists create healthy, beautiful smiles for patients of all ages.

When it comes to your smile and the health of your teeth, you want an expert to provide the personalized care that will give you a new smile not with aligners you get in the mail.

Personal Service

From the moment you contact our office to your final retainer check appointment, our goal at Embrace Orthodontics is your complete satisfaction.

Dr. Li will review your photos and X-rays to find the best way to treat your individual needs.

You’ll then choose the type of braces you want - traditional metal, clear ceramic, or Invisalign. Our goal at Embrace Orthodontics is not just to give you the smile of your dreams. We want you to leave our office after every appointment knowing that you got the best possible care.

Comfortable Orthodontic Treatments

At Embrace Orthodontics, we take pride in making the process of straightening your teeth as comfortable as possible. With recent orthodontic advancements, there are now more adult treatment options than ever before.

Gone are the days of painful headgear, clunky bands on every tooth, and overly tight stainless steel wires. Today's orthodontic treatment is much more comfortable than it used to be.

With the same technology that NASA uses, the shape memory NiTi wires exert a light continuous force against the teeth to move them in the right direction. This gets rid of the need for frequent wire tightening, hence less frequent adjustment visits and less time spent in braces. Because the force is light on the teeth, it also means more comfortable treatment. We often hear from our adult patients who had braces treatment before and are now in retreatment that they were amazed by how little to no discomfort they experience this time around thanks to the new technology and products we are using.

Modern Techniques For An Ideal Bite

Embrace Orthodontics is your Ann Arbor location for modern orthodontic treatment. We offer aesthetic options like ceramic braces and Invisalign.

Dr. Li uses the latest technology, such as impression-free scanning, soft tissue lasers, and temporary anchorage devices, when necessary, to achieve more efficient tooth movement and more accelerated treatment time, thus delivering the best treatment outcome.

To help her patients understand the potentially complicated treatment, Dr. Li even utilizes the aforementioned impression-free scan to capture patients’ teeth in digital format and perform a simulation to demonstrate the anticipated treatment result. This has helped so many patients in our office to make their best-informed decision on their treatments.

Orthodontics is such an evolving field of dental specialty with new technology. When choosing your orthodontists, be sure to check out the technology they offer, so you can be treated with the best, up-to-date modality.

Flexible Payments, Affordable Braces & Invisalign

Everyone loves medical offices that offer flexible appointments and flexible treatment options, but we also offer flexible payment options, to make orthodontics affordable. We accept all PPO insurances and will verify your orthodontic benefit before your initial consultation.

At your consultation, after we’ve evaluated all records and determined the best course of the treatment plan, we'll sit down and come up with a monthly payment plan that fits your family’s budget.

You can also get a discount if you pay in full on the front end.

Environmentally Conscious

Are you looking for an eco-friendly orthodontic practice? Embrace Orthodontics practices a green business model to keep our planet healthy.

Our iTero digital scanner eliminates the need for the trays and chemicals used for dental impressions in the past. We utilize high-efficiency appliances throughout the office, as well as a paperless system. Thanks to electronic records, charts, and billing, we have done away with files stuffed with paper and paper bills. We recycle whenever possible.

Convenient Appointments

Our Ann Arbor orthodontic office is conveniently located inside Plymouth Road Mall. We are very close to the North Campus, several elementary schools such as Thurston, Logan and King elementary schools, and middle schools such as Clague Middle School.

That means great orthodontic care is only a few minutes from your home, work, or school. We also offer evening and Saturday appointments.
